Student

aw, hay manz.

I'm Katie, known on the interwebz as katiechaos :]
I'm 18, have a fantastic boyfriend, I live in Victoria, Australia, and I totally dig it.
I've been Type 1 for coming up 7 years now, and have sadly only just taking my diabetes really, REALLY seriously. But better late than never :]

Anybody who reads this, chat to me yeah?
I really want to meet/talk to people who are in the same situation as me, and understands what the heck I'm bitching about when I'm hating life because of my diabetes, or who can share my joy when I get an awesome HbA1c, or who can share little tricks of the trade with me.

So, welcome.
And go for it :D

Excellent choice to stop the smoking and booze... it is only trouble in the long run. I guess in moderation the alcohol would be alright (hard to do for some though ;)

So, it look like you were dx'd at 12? That was the same age as me. I did shots for 19 years and have been pumping for the last 7ish.

Anyways, hope you have a nice day Katie!
