Hey K! Thanks for inviting me to be a friend. Where in Japan were you? Did you know that NOVA shut down out of the blue? I understand teachers were literally on the streets. I teach with the local city school system. Every elementary class has 45min/wk of English provided by a native speaker. But we are only "assistants" and have no lesson planning or other responsibilities. Still, it is lots of fun and it makes you feel good when a shy first grader sees you in the super market and points you out as "Sensei" to his mom. Or when you blast by a group of kids on your bike and one of them shouts "Sensei!" after you. I also have fun showing them my pump and even letting them watch as I do glucose checks during breaks.
Your blog on aging is interesting--I'll have to add a comment!

I find that at the end of the day, I seem to be more exhausted than the "average" person. I am an early riser and I do work out everyday but I find that if I stay up later than my normal routine, I'm absolutely knackered! Especially if my day has been filled with rollercoaster bloo… Continue
