I teach, so I'm rather fortunate in that it allows me the opportunity to snack upon need....the children are for the better part either unaware (even when I test), or verry accepting. I have had some lows though, fortunately no severe lows in front of the children. I have asthma also! The children would likely see me as this poor decrepit thing....but I don't give them a chance to....I'm in there with the best of them!

I'm originally fom Québec; English is my second language....came to Ontario when 12. We spent a week in Québec (city) this summer, celebrating its 400th anniversary with family and friends. Now, of course I miss it immensely. How do you handle your diabetes at work? Does it ever get in the way?
