"Robyn, on a positive note, I also heard about Avastin from my mom's eye specialist. He says it has worked for many of his patients so good luck to you and hang in ;o)"

"You should show her the site. I know that once I got on here, I fell in love. Diabetes is hard, especially when you feel alone. But I know there are so many supportive people on here that are willing to give advice and encouragement"

This is my day of reckoning. This is my first blog and I'm in complete awe at how optimistic T1 are! Such positive outlooks. I never imagined, I'm sooo incredibly impressed. I wish my D daughter could be here right now. I don't have the best relationship with her because she considers me a nag about her D. The fact that my daughter is a 'D mama', that I come from a long line of worriers, that my daughter doesn't have a handle on her bg (she's still somewhat in denial after 2 years) so she's… Continue

Greeting from CANADA, where INSULIN was discovered by BANTING & BEST, JULY 30 1921. I am a LION MEMBER since 1972 ,a 91 computer rookie, who was clinically dead, in 1977, with a BG of 880, and with my second chance, have been a ROLE MODEL to over 40.000 and still acting as a senior who is going to WEAR OUT, not RUST OUT. Contact your local LIONS CLUB , and tell them AMIGO SAYS GET INVOLVED. I am asking insulin-users, worldwide,to call 5 DIABETICS, and ask them to join me, in silence, JULY 30 INSULIN APPRECIATION DAY, and give THANKS FOR INSULIN,giving hundreds of millions of US, a chance to live a healthy lifestyle and productive llives TODAY. Check out www.discoveryofinsulin.com and see why AMIGOS will be selling BLUE ROSES, that day. The meaning of the BLUE ROSE, 'ATTAINING THE IMPOSSIBLE' is our mission and motto. Tell your daughter that she is SPECIAL, and one of a kind, her smile is one of a kind, and someday be a positive ROLE MODEL to many people. Give her an AMIGOHUG and let her know ''SOMEONE CARES' AMIGO clarence.haynes@sympatico.ca
