I want to create a group which shall share information on Diabetes through memoirs. Please join and send your own memoirs. Find below an interesting story, titled "An Adventerous Lover-" and "He amputated his leg himself..."

It was during my stay at Republic Square at Paris, while I was attending 18th Congress of International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in 2003 that I happened to go through an anecdote published in a

I expect members of this group, who are suffering from Diabetes (whether Type 1 or Type 2) to write any incident/acident or peculiar experience they have faced as a patient of Diabetes. I, as a Diabetologist would like to point out medical messages from them

Dr. Shankhdhar...time to go to Montreal soon !!
I have signed up for the 5 k walk on October 22 ( Thursday ) at 6.30 am and will volunteer in room 517D handing out head sets from 8.30 - 10.30 am ...hope to go to the Exhibit area and my afternoon and evening are taken up by attending the CDA's NAGM ...will we have time to meet ???? What would you suggest ?? ( if not in person , than in spirit ...12,000 of us ...I can hardly imagine) . My big problem : so much to do , so little time . As I mentioned before, I do not have a cell phone . The Hyatt Regency phone number is 514-982-1234. If we do not connect , than I hope to learn here on TU , that you were very successful at the Conference , that Montreal was good to you and your wife .All the best.

Hello:

Hey, that's Great that you're coming to Canada. Have you ever been here before? Too bad you are not coming during the warmer weather. It's more enjoyable then. If you're coming around Oct.22, make sure you bring a coat. :D

As you probably know, in Montreal they mainly speak French. I hope that you speak French. If not, then I hope that you will be conversing with an English-speaking Quebecer. We live about 2 hours away from Montreal.....in Ottawa.

Best wishes in a successful presentation, acceptance and trip.
