"Smack it with a baseball bat, put it in the freezer, take a steak knife and slide it between the small clear plastic rim and the bulk of the body to take it apart and pull till you disconnect the wires. Obviously don't do all three! The last…"

markeeezy replied to Scott Wilkins's discussion 'Omnipod's Survey' in the group OmniPod Users
"Clearly it is unproductive to keep pushing for something that is not going to happen. Most likely the people you are able to talk to have no control whatsoever over what happens and are just trying to do their jobs by providing you with whatever…"

Monday
markeeezy replied to Cocheze's discussion 'High Numbers with First Pod' in the group OmniPod Users
"Lots of variables that make it incredibly hard to actually pinpoint what the issue would be. Which is frustrating, but like Cat suggested bad absorption has proven to be the biggest cause of my weird blood sugars on the pod. Just keep trying new…"

markeeezy replied to Jen's discussion 'New, smaller Omnipod arrived!' in the group OmniPod Users
"I can respect that, and completely understand that in your daughter's case the new system was a necessity and not a convenience. However, I think what FHS was referring to is the fact that for a lot of people the current omnipod works very…"

markeeezy replied to Jen's discussion 'New, smaller Omnipod arrived!' in the group OmniPod Users

markeeezy replied to Jen's discussion 'New, smaller Omnipod arrived!' in the group OmniPod Users
"Totally agreed. This is a very logical solution to their issue. Your supplier clearly doesn't have a pod supply problem - don't deprive you the ability to use what you've been given from them."

markeeezy replied to Dave.Ladner's discussion 'Need some help with testing...'
"Ugh. This absolutely disgusts me. We get punished for trying to manage our condition in a responsible manner just so some a****** wearing a suit can buy more expensive suits and save a buck to save the bottom line. 3 strips a day is just laughable.…"

markeeezy replied to cat's discussion 'bad absorption in all the right places :(' in the group OmniPod Users
"Yeah, holy wow. My bolus is between 70-80% depending on the day. I'm going to the endo in 3 weeks so I'll definitely bring it up then, but we are exact opposites! I wonder if getting closer to that 50/50 would do anything for me...…"
