jeffojeda said… Hi Marty 1492. That was very nice of you to say. Thank you. I thin I've been in a similar situation as he is and I know that feeling. Hopefully taking a chance and writing what I did helps. As for a guy expressing his feelings, well...we have them from time to time.. he he :-)
I like your avatar picture. Where is that? Anyway, you were very nice to comment as you did. Thank you. I truly appreciate that you did.
Thanks so much for your lovely complement Marty! When I came on here 3 years ago I was so confused about why my supposed Type 2 had gone so wonky on me, and it was here in part I learned my correct diagnosis and then how to treat it! So it's all about giving back! Sounds like you were diagnosed early enough to learn what you need to know before you desperately need it!
Hi Marty. I am a recent lada, diagnosed back in January. Like most I am adjusting to the new restrictions/life style. I saw your post about the honeymoon phase and thought I'd make a connection.

Happy to connect with a fellow late-comer to the D party. :-)
sarahrachel said… Hi Marty,
Thanks for "friending"me. I hope you are doing well. I am currently looking to do LADA testing in the next week or so to rule it out. Another member, Melitta, forwarded me a list of tests to take: antibody testing (GAD, ICA, IA-2, ZnT8) plus c-peptide.
Have you had these tests? I am curious to others' experience in the diagnosis.
Take Care, Sarah
