Hot Bath, Omnipod, and High BG

Hi everyone,Just a simple question. Have you ever taken a hot bath with the omnipod on your stomach and had the insulin inside it affected? I had two really high readings this morning (288 when I woke up & 286 two hours after a correction and bolus for the food I was eating). I've been running a little high, but i usually get back down to normal, or at least close, when I have a small snack (w/exact carb count) plus a correction and bolus.Anyway, I was about to take a hot bath the night…See More

Thank You from a New OmniPod User

I just wanted to say thank you all for the helpful tips on the OmniPod. It is my first experience with a pump, and I've been using it since Valentine's Day. It has been amazing! I've had 88% of my BG readings within my targeted range, and this past week I didn't have any readings over my intended range!I've had lots of questions about things from moisture/insulin appearing in the window (q-tips after removing the needle cap!) to what to do when running (lots of helpful advice), and this has…See More
