so far so good. I feel weird but am trying to just ignore it. The pugs and the mutt left me alone last night so no problems with the tubing. i am not crazy about the new glucose meter- it needs SO much blood!! Do you use the one touch?

How's it going with you?

That is great news about the pump! I am so glad you feel better already. I used to not feel so bad when I went high but the last year or so when I hit 300 I get headaches and lethargic and it ruins the entire day. I am hoping with the Revel I won't have the failures I have with the Omnipod and those high days will be much less frequent.
I am hanging around waiting for the UPS guy to deliver my Revel today. I meet with the trainer tomorrow and then deal with the CGM a week later. Glad to hear the pugs haven't snagged the tube or chewed it ( I am worried about the chewing)

I am a little nervous about the CGM. Have you read the thread I started about the new system... seems the CGM is a little more iffy and complicated. Also the insertion hurts.

All my pugs are rescues. I have two 6 year olds and a one year old. The one year old I just rescued in April. He was literally half dead at a shelter and a rescue group took him right before he was going to be killed. He was 12lbs and a mess. I took him home to foster and rehabilitate him and well, I ended up keeping him. 4 months later he is 20lbs and too fat and the boss of my house.
There is nothing like an older pug. I just love them. That is so great of you to take him.

I am so nervous about the new pump. I have never had a tubed one before and worry about the pugs and the mutt pulling out the tubing. Mine should arrive next week I imagine. Please keep me posted how it goes with yours.

This is CRAZY but I actually call my pugs a monkey loaf sometimes!! You know when they sleep with their legs tucked under them they look like a loaf. Best name ever!!

Sorry to hear about the rough day! Not understanding why I am high or low drives me crazy! Hope that you can figure it out soon and things return to "normal".
