muchow replied to Emily Coles's discussion 'What would You Like to See as ADA Priorities in 2013?'
"Jims, I agree re: the magazine. The one positive thing I'll say about ADA is that the local office in Dallas, and to some degree the national office as well, have been very open about working with local diabetes related groups. That's…"

muchow replied to Emily Coles's discussion 'What would You Like to See as ADA Priotities in 2013?'
"I'd like to see two things: 1) A greater focus on the role of BOTH diet and physical activity in helping maintain level BG's. ADA has retreated into the "eat right and exercise, call you doctor first" language that their lawyers…"

Welcome home muchow!!
Take a peek at some the other groups when you get a chance. Take in some of the blogs/discussions as well. The house in the photo is where Dr. Frederick Banting lived and had his medical practice in London, Ontario, Canada...before going to the University of Toronto to work on diabetes research, and ultimately the discovery of Insulin.
