Thanks to this site I am a different person to the one that whimpered on to this site.I am so confident now with the state health workers (doctors & nurses!). I used to have a small comfort zone and outside that I needed one of my daughters to speak or translate for me. Now I have no limits. - Retired Bail Officer. Horse/Mule Dealer in Spain until Oct 2008! Compound fracture left ankle riding accident.. Now has Necrosis. live with pain and 2 feet trying to turn black. walk with sticks. I have No support outside my family here. Do not know how to help myself as no one tells me and no support groups! However I stay optimistic and happy!

Just a short while ago I thought my life was over!
I felt I had no one who understood what I was going through. So much anguish/worry.
In ten years I had no support for my unstable D2/T2diabetes! Never heard of an Endo, or any specialist of any kind!

I always felt it an obligation to repay the Brits for their sacrifice, during the world wars, even though I was a Canadian.
