The Diet Monster and Me!Loosing 44 ILBS! Did I?

Well the diet monster had me last year. My target was 20 Kilos (44 Ilbs) I managed 16 Kilos (36 Ilbs) Following monthly visits to my community nurse (Nice Guy!) He confirmed I had lost another 16 Kilos(36 ILBS)! So in total I have reduced by: 32 Kilos or (72 ILBS) HOOOOORAY! I can dance with Emily Coles now! I'm Silth like! I WISH!See More

Life has Got Smaller!

Posted on September 18, 2013 at 12:52pm 5 Comments

It has suddenly dawned on me. 2.5 years ago I planned to move to our little country house with Veg plot. Suddenly my farm was sold and my youngest daughter married in the same month. After 7 years of restoration we could actually and at last move into that house out of malaga (State) and into Granada (State). It was great, hard but great, and for the first time I was growing my own veg. Then we realisied we just could not cope so far away from our support network. The cold was too cold and…

Got A Diet that Works, Got A New Apartment To!

Posted on March 28, 2013 at 9:05am 4 Comments

Well this is a crazy month. WE are now living in the town of Velez Malaga 20 miles from Malaga city. (Get your maps out of google us!You can track me with your Android phone if you wish!

I am one week into my new diet. Basically eating half the amount I consumed before. It's hard, but I can snack an Apple. I just have smaller portions more often allowing my body to use up the energy. It seems to suite me?

After recent electro analysis the nerves in my feet are fine. Despite the…

Albert, that's so interesting about your young life. it's so different now. my parents let me take a city bus downtown when I was 9 years old every Saturday, and then walk 8 blocks to go to drama class, I had a lot of freedom to play in the woods and do things most parents wouldn't allow these days. we also had a milkman, our family only had one car and most of the time, my dad took it to work.

we're having a nice day here (finally) and I hope to spend most of it outside.

Albert, you look MAH-Velous! thanks for checking in. I've never heard of a knocker upper, what did they do? I love hearing about village life in Spain, all the sounds, smells, the flowers, the mules, everything. keep up the good work on your health and weight. I'm doing the best I can, nothing new to report. we're just barely out from winter's grip here. nothing flowering yet, but I can see buds and small green shoots. hugs, my friend.

Albert, thanks for your continuing kind thoughts. I don't know if you are awake tonight, but we are having a live even here in about 30 minutes, with a doctor who is helping desperate diabetics in Haiti. Diabetes awareness in Haiti is one of our pet projects here at TuDiabetes. in case you miss it, it will be recorded and put in our video section for later viewing.
