go to his profile page, and underneath his picture, you will see the words "add as a friend" - click on that and a little box will appear. you have the opportunity to add a little private message there. being a "friend" has the option of sending "private" messages that are sometimes useful. I think I'll add Henry as a friend right now!

I didn't know there was a Canadian site. Yes, that was us you were talking to. Yes, I am doing Ottawa, 2010 as well as London, England, 2010. My boys are well. I just did a WDD presentation at their school today complete with a glowing blue circle in the dark. I almost started to cry, except I'd been warned by my 12 year old not to embarass him. Last assembly I danced, apparently so not cool anymore, sigh... This is one of those moments when you think perhaps you can make a difference :)

Trying to find the post you made the other day about the Orbit 90 - but not having much luck. I think you said it wasn't available here in Canada - but it is. The only confusion might be is that the Orbit Micro (shorter needle) - there is limited supply. You can order the infusion sets from Diabetes Depot (based in Ontario). No charge for shipping if order is over $200 CDN. Box of 10 Orbits is $159.99 CDN. I'll let you post this on the discussion you started - or just tell me where it is - and I'll repost this for you if it's easier! Ciao! Hope you got the pics I sent out last Friday!

got Pumping Insulin and am reading it at the moment. I will be getting an Accu Chek combo pump. I don't think they are too popular in North America but seem to be in Europe. I live in Ireland. Hopefully I will meet some other pumpers when I go to the hospital to learn how to pump as I don't know anyone at the moment who has one.

HAd a few moment with the Ping in the snow and cold. reversed the clip and put it closer to skin. Get bunches of laughs from the other people here that I keep my pager close to my body. (They all know the Calif. Boy don't like cold !!!! and is a pump dependent diabetic). No didn't get to do a dog sled thing. Was in a chase van. I'll be going home for a couple of days this month (hope around Nov. 14th) to catch up on Dr, appointments then catch back up with the torch team. Glad to hear you won't be there when I'm in SF.
