Hi! My name is Kate. I'm a female girl critter, born 1987 to some very interesting people (my parents). I live in Vancouver in Beautiful British Columbia Canada. No, we don't have igloos. No, there are no sled dogs where I am. No, I don't have a polar bear in my back yard. It's quite warm here; the worst weather involved half an inch of snow, the best 33 degree Celsius (91 degrees Fahrenheit) dry heat. We have lovely beaches and awesome transit services; we are probably one of the greenest cities in the world. I have the privilege of living very near Pacific Spirit Park and get to see a forest every time I go outside...yet I'm about 20 minutes on bus from our downtown center. Vancouver is also a very diverse city, and boy are we artistic! Perfect place for me to live...we have specialty art supplies shops everywhere.

A lot of my history is a long story I'd rather not get into, so I'll focus on what I'm up to now. I was homeschooled till grade 10, and took a break for a year or so to earn some money (as it was in short supply). I am a student at a wonderful community college; I am taking grade 12 math this autumn, having recently completed the requirements for my highschool diploma (it's now in a frame on my desk. After that, I'm off to real schools! I have plans to attend a community college in WA state so I can finally be with my fiance, Bryan. He lives in Iowa, and I met him online in a game, lol. Yeah I know holy nerdy batman, but we've visited each other a fair bit (he was here for the WHOLE summer, yay!!!) and are both convinced there is no one else for either of us. We run team summmb**ch, as we have named it (I am b**ch 1 and he is b**ch 2). We have about 10 million inside jokes and spend about six hours a night talking to each other in silly voices and dialect (which both of us sometimes find difficult not to use in serious conversations...even with other people). I cannot imagine anyone who could compliment my personality better.

My other hobbies include writing (I am into comics; specifically Marvel >>> X-men >>> New X-men >>> X-23 and Hellion). I post on fanfiction.net under my username (same as here). I also draw, paint, computer color, play piano, sing, write songs, etc.
