So......

Jackson has been back in school for about 3 weeks and everything has been going pretty good, he has had a low about everyday at somepoint. We have been trying to figure out why......I know it seems obvious, but the lows are at different times about everyday. His class as P.E. three days a week so when the pattern started I figured he just needed a bigger snack before P.E., but when it happened again the next day when they only had library as a "special" I didn't know. Some lows do happen before…See More

Vacation......Pump or Shots.....

We will be going on a trip late this summer (in August). Jackson has been saying he would like to try going on a pump, but I was woundering if it would be eaiser to travel on a pump or on shots. Shots require giving a shot every time you eat, but a pump would require packing a lot more packaging. We are currently using pens, which don't require as much packaging. I am not really sure want to think.........any suggestions........thoughts.........we are going to be flying so I don't want A LOT of…See More

Lows at School

Posted on February 19, 2012 at 5:37pm 9 Comments

During school when Jackson is low he normally drinks juice, but he is really getting tried of drinking juice in class all the time. He doesn't really like glucose tablets (I know he is very picky. I would like to know what you or your kids used for more mild lows during school that isn't to messy. For more extreme lows he will use juice or tablets.

Thanks!
