So - I log on and see that my last blog entry is about Thanksgiving and already Christmas and New Years Day have passed. Christmas is still my number one favorite holiday, despite the pressure, the busyness, the fatigue, the tempting good (but bad ) food -I still love it for what the true meaning is - nothing more than that and getting together with all my family. I did pretty good overall keeping my BG levels in the normal ranges- despite cooking a huge lasagne dinner for 15 people and eatin

Thanksgiving is my second favorite holiday. Christmas is first, due to the actual meaning of course- Thanksgiving for me was always about family and giving thanks to God for all we are given during the past year. The feast was always secondary, however I was never shy about over-indulging. All that changed this year with my diagnosis - all for the better!
