I have discovered Crochet for alleviating Diabetes Depression (and some other ranting about food and feelings and stuff)

Hello there. I am 31 years old, was diagnosed with T2 around late October 2010. I am coming up on my first dia-versary, and it's been one intensely difficult year.I have been on a pretty strict "do everything right for diabetes" diet and exercise regime. The great news is that after the sixth month appointment, my general 'betes health and weight were highly improved and my family doctor was extremely happy with my numbers and overall progress, and had nothing but glowing compliments and "Keep…See More

My Easter Weekend Experience + Diabetes

Posted on April 27, 2011 at 11:54am 1 Comment

Happy Times:

* Getting to color a bunch of eggs and taking cellphone pics of the whole process

* Receiving $30 giftcard to Monaco (best nearly movie theatre) from parents-in-law for Easter instead of usual basket of easter candy. Very thoughtful alternative to holiday candy

* Having a nice sit-down lunch with my whole in-law family

* Watching old family movies of husband as a sweet mumbling 3-year-old opening christmas presents and… Continue

My long-winded quest to find a fun diabetes workout regime

Our quest to find a good workout system for me started out with my… Continue
