Hi Twiddle, It is nice to hear from you. I am so sorry that you are having a hard time controlling your blood glucose. That can make you feel really sick. Have you told your doctor about it? Maybe you should take more insulin. It is a problem though because then you might gain more weight. I have been having trouble with highs lately.
It is sunny out today and it gets really hot here too. I haven't been feeling that well either. When I can get my BGs down into the 100s I feel better but that is hard to do and sometimes it gets up to 3 or 400 and I feel terrible. I have been swimming to help with exercise. How are the cats doing. I have one named Zen and she is black with a little white. The cicadas are singing at this time of year and they sound really nice. In spite of the heat we have had a lot of rain this year and that makes it very humid. I will be glad when autumn comes. It is my favorite time of year. Only need to get through August here and September is nice because it cools off quite a bit. I am looking forward to all the fall festivals that we have here that celebrate the change of seasons. Summer is not my favorite because I get too hot. I hope that you feel better. Any ideas for blogs? You always spice things up. Take care. It is nice to hear from you.
Ellen

Hi Twiddle, Where have you been? It is time for you to write another blog.. We need to know how you are doing. I swear that I can feel fall in the air even though early fall is more than a month away. I just ate a fresh tomato from the garden. Tomatoes taste so much better when they are home grown. It was my first big one this year.
I have been to the swimming pool today. It was beautiful and I stayed there for three hours. I got quite a tan built up.
How are you feeling this summer. Is it hot in the Shire this year. How are the cats and your angel? How are the kids and the grandchildren coming along. I hope your health is going okay. Are you still trying to lose weight. I lost a bunch and it feels a lot easier to do things now. My health is much better too. It comes and goes with flare ups but I am feeling really good right now especially with the exercise in the swimming pool. Do you have anywhere that you can go swimming to cool off. Well, have a good weekend.

Hi Twiddle, I have been wondering what you have been up to lately. Are you enjoying you bookshelves? Did you manage to get the project finished? I have been super hot here in Virginia. The sun has been heating up the house like crazy. I will be happy when things cool off as they are supposed to do for a few days. It has been raining intermittently so that helps. Zen is interested in going out into the garden now but I worry about her because she is black. I don't want anyone to hurt her. Ammi is enjoying his walks. We are thinking of waiting until dark and seeing if there are any fireflies out yet. We see a lot of dragonflies in the woods. Not much news here, been swimming a lot for pain relief. Take care, Ellen

It has been storming badly lately. I have a garden and so far it is enjoying the rain. No wind has blown the pots off the deck yet. I have been in bed for a few days with problems with my stomach but I feel better today. Kiss the cats for me. I think that Ammi, my dog, is sick of heat. I like autumn a lot better than summer! Ellen
Glad to hear you are okay.

I hope things are going well with you. I will look at the moon tonight and think about you, Angel and the cats. How is everyone? Is your summer going okay? Soon the leaves will be falling or am I a little bit early for that? Ellen.

Hi Twiddlemthumbs, A bird was singing outside my window and I thought about you. I think it was trying out for the Grammy Award it was so fancy. It was sweet. My garden is in full bloom now. It is hot outside. I have been battling arthritis by walking and drinking water and it is working just my hands are a mess and typing is hard.
I got a small new laptop that is tinier for my hands and way easier to use. How are things? How are you? Ellen

Hi Twiddle, Your status looks kind of rough this morning. I feel cloudy too. I used to write all the time and now it is getting hard to type and think. Like you said, cloudy. I lack the clarity and speed and get impatient. I have a laptop but the mouse pad is too big and I keep hitting it by accident and erasing everything.
I am enjoying the weather here. It is sunny and hot and the birds are really enjoying things. Last night I went to the back porch to check out the moon. Half of it was showing and it was so bright that I could not look for long. It was intensely bright.
I am not feeling too bad this morning. I will try a walk today and house cleaning. Take care. Ellen
