Neuropathy of the hand

Has anyone heard of or possibly even had Neuropathy of the hand? I sure would like to hear from you!!! I need to speak with someone who has had this complication. I always thought Neuropathy occurred only in the lower limbs, so was surprised when I was told that I "may" have Neuropathy in my right hand. There are other pieces of this story, so that "possible" diagnoses may not stand in the end. But I sure would like to hear from you about your symptoms and treatment. Thanks.See More

Anyone out there with Kidney complications? I need your help.

Posted on December 11, 2012 at 11:01am 3 Comments

I have had Type 1 Diabetes for 46 years and have recently been diagnosed with Stage III Chronic Kidney Failure (CKF). Other than the usual high and low BG's over these many years that all Diabetics who take Insulin experience, I've had very few other complications and no major ones until this surprising development. Problem is, I don't believe it. I may be deluding myself, but I just don't feel like there's anything wrong with me (other than Type 1 Diabetes, that is). I have no symptoms that…

Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
