help! started exercising and my basals are insane :(

Started this discussion. Last reply by acidrock23 Apr 2. 1 Reply

I haven't exercised regularly in several years, so I decided it was time to get with the program (even though I would much rather be sitting on the couch), but it has been a blood sugar nightmare. At…Continue

I just got my first crappy kidney functioning tests, what should I do???

Started this discussion. Last reply by Betty J Feb 28. 16 Replies

This came from out of nowhere. I had no idea there was an issue, but now that I got todays results, I look back at the last couple of GFRs and there is a definite pattern. (I will say, though, that I…Continue

Does insulin really denature in the heat?

Started this discussion. Last reply by Simon Carter Oct 29, 2012. 7 Replies

I had my insulin and meter sitting in a little pouch right in the blazing heat the other day. Ugh! When I realized it, I tried to test my b/s and the meter gave me a warning that it was too hot. I…Continue

help! started exercising and my basals are insane :(

I haven't exercised regularly in several years, so I decided it was time to get with the program (even though I would much rather be sitting on the couch), but it has been a blood sugar nightmare. At first I was having lows right and left and now I'm going to high. I think my basals are just completely wrong now. But I'm not sure how to get them back in line.I already fast for long periods every day (normally eat just once a day), so I don't mind doing lots of fasting and testing, but I'm…See More

David (dns) replied to rubidoux's discussion 'Why do people still use Regular?'
