Fear of getting blood drawn

It seems absurd to admit it as a diabetic who had injected himself multiple times a day in the past, but I still feel very anxious, uncomfortable, and in uneasy pain every time I do blood work. I know I ought to do it for health reasons but simply cannot. It's been awhile since I last did and I know I should. Anyone else have this problem and/or suggestions to resolve it?Thank you.See More

Hi sebabella, lookes like you are new here, this is a great site for info and support! how long have you been on the omnipod. my son has been using it for a year and a half we have had issues with highs after pod changes which we give a good extra bolus for that helps alot 1.5-5 units dependending on bs, lately he seems to be creeping up on day three as well, so many variables, he is 14 so some of his highs are d/t keeping up with his growth. i hope things get better, you are not alone!! amy
