I was taking Metformin 800 mg three times a day. I started taking 1000mg twice a day after I had a stroke last month. The only problem I ever had with it was an unsettlerd stomach for about a week when I first started taking it.

World Diabetes Day

happy world diabetes day
Today is world diabetes day I want to give thanks to 2 dr's who help save us diabetic Dr Fredrick Banting and Dr charles Best The 2 Dr's who came up with insulin in the 1920's both are canadian they saved millions of diabetic with there insulin and without there diabetic would have died today is dr banting bitrthday he died in the 1940's so please give thanks to these 2 doctors who saved us diabetics thanks

Yes it's thanksgiving for us canadians I hope you spend time with your love ones

I have been to my diabetes class and it look like I have been spilling proetin in my urine so that not good I go to the lab for more test I see my endo at the end of october and my a1c was 7.2 so not bad school is fine lots of homework but it fun hope you are well be back soon thanks

started college

Hi Everyone I just started college this week I go to vancouver community college and I am taking a office course so it a lot of home work but I like it. I have been to the endo and my a1c came back with mixup numbers as the doctor does not think the numbers are right becuase it up again up to 7.9 so the last one was 6.8 and the date I did the test are wrong too so I did yet a other test and I see the endo again in october so we see how that goes thanks

low blood iron

Hi everyone I found out on the weekend that I have low blood iron my doctor but me on iron pills so we see how my iron is in a month. my birthday was fine I had a girls night out and it was a blast. I busy with work and looking after my diabetes as I started the iron pills it could go up bg that is well that all for now thanks shelly

yes tomorrow is my birthday I will be 31 I am getting old lol I doing ok with my diabetes I see my endo in august so I hope it will be ok that all for now thanks. shelly
