Has anyone else encountered this?I have a support group participant who has been advised by her physician to test 2 times a day to see at what time and what insulin to prescribe. A PA was written (prior authorization). She took the prescription to the pharmacy, where she was given a glucose log, told to complete it the number of times a day prescribed by her physician in order for Medicare to cover the additional strips.This seems like a HIPAA problem to me, and the person is concerned about…See More
