- info on how not to be on medications and control diabeties with diet and exercise. I had just lost 30 pounds and started exercising 3-4 times a week when I got sick and was diagnosed.

alice wright said… - Hi there, Thanks for your note, came as a surprise on a dead day.Amanda, my dietition put me on cinnamon tablets to give me more energy, (which they do) and also give my bsl a helping hand.
I was diagnosed in October 2005 and have been med free ever since. As you know its hard work, my levels are average 5.1 to 6.5 with a few spikes at around 8 -10 if I lose track (chocolate) and get lazy.
One of the side effects is that the hormones in the bedroom department get a real boost because of the energy levels going up.
In Australia the tablets are called GLUCOPTIN at 200mg., once a day in the morning with no fool in the stomach. Hope this answers yout querry and I hope to hear from you again. Alice

Linda Gauvin-Miller said… - Back at ya Summer ( smile)....You say you're near Canada?...Where abouts?....Is "Ma" Montana?....if you're ever planning to cross the border...this year would be a GREAT time...Québec City is celebrating its 400th anniversary....lots and lots going on there, especially this Summer. Québec is the only N.American city within a fortress...we're spending the first week of August in a cottage in a village with a pioneer theme, 30 min. east of the city...will also be a family reunion...also seeking out my French roots. Our first ancestor to come to Canada, came in the mid 1600.
