tattoo,
sorry it's taken me over a month to get back to you. I work in a very busy restaurant both as a server and the ONLY pastry chef. We've been completely swamped for more reasons than I care to talk about because talking shop would probably put you to sleep. But one really cool thing I've been doing at the restaurant is catering for Steven Soderberg and Matt Damon!!! They're here in the heart of the midwest filming a movie. Pretty awesome.

When I got my tattoo, it didn't even cross my mind to talk to the artist about my diabetes. I also have some piercings and now that I think about it, I didn't mention it then either. I guess I'm still a good healer because I didn't have any troubles.

From your pic I can'y really see your sleeve, but it sounds cool. I'm saving my cash for my next one. It's going to be pretty big and probably involve a few sittings. From my pic you can probably figure out that I'm Irish. Actually, no......I'M IRISH. Pale skin, ice blue eyes, fire red hair and hella freckles. I look like I just got off the boat from Dublin. Actually, when I vacationed there, everyone thought I was a local until I spoke. So, with all of that being said. My next tattoo is going to be an eagle straight out of the Book of Kells. The wings are quite ornate....they're filled with celtic knot work. The coloring will be very bold. Then at the eagle's feet he'll be holding on to a celtic knot that symbolizes motherhood. I wear the knot around my kneck every day. I plan on it covering my entire lower back.

Believe it or not, my husband HATES ink. But, I am a very strong willed woman and really don't care if he likes tats or not.

Actually, 5 years ago I never imagined myself having any tattoos. Then my family suffered a terrible tragedy. My aunt and cousin were brutally killed by a drunk driver. My aunt was my inspiration all my life. So, my sister and our mom and I decided to have a memorial tatto done in their memory. I drew the tattoo and all three of us wear it with tremendous pride. It's a pair of angel wings with a halo on our right shoulder. We all love when people ask us about it because it reminds us that they're both looking out for us.....our guardian angels.

Okay.....I've just totally rambled and probably bored you to tears. So sorry.

Tattoo, welcome to the site. Trust me, you'll love it. I'm assuming from your name, you've got some ink? Loved to hear about it. Curlzzz
