Cut A1C in HALF!
When I was diagnosed A1c on 06/02/09 was 7.7 Fasting GL was at 130 08/13/09 A1c was 5.5 Fasting GL was 74 I am due up for my second A1c test in about 2 weeks, hopefully it'll be lower. Like Gerri...

accept diabetes ?
I never really "accepted" diabetes but I like to think it keeps me in balance with my health. Diabetes makes sure I eat right and also live a healthy lifestyle.

- Hi teR. First of all, I'd like to apologize. Seems that the thank you for add as friend didn't get through. I don't know if it is the problem with the site or my computer is acting up. In fact, I had to send my Sept. 13 post several times before it got through. Thanks for the comforting words. My Dr. just came back from his leave. He told me not to worry. My daily numbers are good. It's because of my thalassemia, a blood disorder, that my A1c is still high. I couldn't product new blood cells normally and the glucose trace builds up on the old ones.That's a relief. As for your scare, I had one like that before . We really do live by the numbers. Really envy you though. You are doing such a good job.

- Hi teR, thanks for adding me as a friend. How are you doing? How's your BG lately? Just got back my A1C - 7.2. It's bad. It's the same as 3 months ago and I've been exercising and dieting. My fasting level is good. Can't figure out what happened. Better numbers than before, yet the same A1C. It's back to the drawing board. I'm feeling so defeated.
