Hello Valerie,
Welcome to the TuDiabetes family!

Love your B&W photos. I look forward to seeing you participate in our upcoming diabetes awareness initiatives: most of them are centered around the use of art as a cathartic channel.

Valerie,
Yes, we live in Western Va., about 10 miles west of Blacksburg (Va. Tech). If you saw the movie, "Dirty Dancing" filmed at Mt. Lake, Va., that's the area. Mt. Lake has been going dry the last few years which hasn't hurt the tourist trade at all.
Haven't been living here all my live. Spent the first 40 or so years different places, mostly Louisiana, Texas, Hawaii, Japan, Korea.

Hi Valerie

Welcome to TuDiabetes, it's good to see another Massachusetts member. I'm bad at attending the pumpers group, there always seems to be something that's family related. Have we met there?

A group of us are going to meetup at the free ADA expo in Boston on March 14th. Maybe you can join us there. Some of the Woburn pumpers will be there also.

Do check out the groups here at TuDiabetes, especially the New England one.
