You do not want to join this epidemic if you are not part of it; if you are you need to fight on a daily basis. This should be a good fight. Diabetics need to know their body how foods react and how to keep your blood sugar in range.

The easy way is to give yourself your pills or insulin. You may not want to, but if you want to be here down the…

Hey, Vince -- what is CAD? Any possibility you might try Byetta (exenatide injections)? I have been on Byetta since May, 2008 and have lost over 40 pounds since then. It is great for BS control, as well. Check it out. As a matter of fact, there is a Byetta users group on tudiabetes. Good luck, Vince!

Hi Vince - thanks for the add. Just got home from work and its always nice to meet a new friend on TD. Hope your diabetes is under control and you are feeling well. What kind of sportscaster are you? I'm a big Oakland A's fan. I'll bet you are a Yankee fan, huh? Go A's!! Take care.... Lynda

Well there you go. I lived in Pgh for 6 years. When they were winning. My favorite place to sit..right over the bullpen.

Hi Vince!

A sports caster eh? Neat job. I have a few students who would love to meet you. I take it from some of the other comments that you are a Yankee's fan...:( I am more of a Pirates/ Red Socks person even though I now live in Ranger country. Actually, my secret love is Hockey. But that is a story for another day.

I could cheer for the Yankees if it wasn't for A-Rod!
