I am talking about all those who are part of the epidemic of Diabetes. It is an epidemic for sure. The numbers are rising at an alarming rate. You do not want to join this epidemic if you are not part of it; if you are you need to fight on a daily basis. This should be a good fight. Diabetics need to know their body how foods react and how to keep your blood sugar in range.

I like meeting friends to share problems and new ideas with. I am a type 1 diabetic and was in renal failure. I did 3 years and 24 days on dialysis. i had a transplant in 2007 and doing well. Still have a few obstacles to overcome but in due time I know I will. Keep in touch

I take it from some of the other comments that you are a Yankee's fan...:( I am more of a Pirates/ Red Socks person even though I now live in Ranger country. Actually, my secret love is Hockey. But that is a story for another day.
