"Hi Garidan. I was told by my doctor to bolus about 15-20 minutes before meals. That is what I do and I don't have any major spikes after eating. I will admit that when I first started using the u-500, I over-bolused a couple of times and had a…"

Atkins and OmniPod

Hello All,Are any of my fellow OmniPod users out there on the Atkins Diet? I’m really thinking about trying Atkins, but I’m concerned about the possibility of having some major blood sugar lows. I’m sure that I would have to change my I:C ratio and make some other changes, but I’d really like some advice (and encouragement) from some OmniPod users who are also trying a low-carb diet.Thanks,-VelSee More

"Great news! Glad the insulin is working out well for you. And yes, rotating less often will give your locations time to heal a little longer which will be better in the long run."
