2010 New Year, Pessimistic and Optimistic

I know a lot of my friends are hopeful this new year will bring good things, i also know a far few people who feel that people are talking rubbish when they say about the new year will be different, that actually it will be the same problems just a different year.

Just got my lab results back
a1c is......................5.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just couldn't believe it... Down from 8.2...I was like WOWW!!

Thought i'd share the great news with you :)
Of course i wouldn't have done it without you guys!

March 31, 2009 is 1 year since Mark passed away..







Hello to all who come to these posts to either give support, or get some support.

My fiance Mark Robert Joseph Santos, a type 1 diabetic,passed away

last year on this very date.



It has somehow been one full year, and i have no idea how i've got here. He is at peace,

the suffering is gone, but the pain so real, so fresh.
