Soooo Sleeeepy

I'm used to not getting very much sleep. I have to get up 5:15 every morning, but I'm a bit of a night owl, so I usually go to bed around 11:30 or 12. If I didn't have to get up so early, I'd probably be up until about 2am.

Morning Highs

Last night I ate dinner at 6:30. I had steak and half of a sweet potato. I'm a new T2, so I'm still in the stage of trying out foods to see how they affect my BG. I was quite please to see that after 2 hours my BG was down to 106. Hooray, I can have sweet potatoes!

Fast forward to this morning and my fasting BG was 116. Won-won-woooon...sad trombone. How is it that 11 hours after I ate dinner, my BG would be higher than it had been 9 hours before?

Do not like.
