SAGA OF 2010 - PART 2

I've been battling with the horrifying thought of going home after only one month post-amputation. I'm not strong enough yet and my apartment is horrid. I can't even get into the bathroom with my power chair. But, they are determined to send me home ---- no matter what! The end of February and I am on my way. Home. Sweet, yet bittersweet.

SAGA OF 2010 - PART 1

The holidays have come and gone. It is fast approaching the end of January and my next visit to the wound clinic. I have a deep sense of dread in my guts.

My left foot is much worse. The right foot has healed. But now they want to put me in the hospital again. I am in severe danger of losing a foot!
