That Card

Everyone gets dealt a hand of cards
Weather they're the cards you wanted or not.
Over time you gain cards, some good, some bad.
I was dealt a card not to long ago
A card that I hate.
I sometimes hide this card from people.
This is a card I want to put in the shredder
and burn the pieces.
Not may people have to deal with a card

Parent, Child Duo!!

Hey everyone,
My mom was talking to the JDRF represenitive of Central Iowa and South Dakota and she was saying how my dad and I both have type one diabetes. She told us that we were the only ones.

Which makes me wonder is this more rare then I thought?
Pleas give me a shout out if you are Parent, Child Duo!

Have a spectacular day,

Listen to this song!!

hey everyone!
I really connect to music and relate it to life. One song I found that I loved and pulled me through the first couple months of being Diabetic. The song is Welcome To My Life by Simple Plan. The lyrics describe exactly what I was feeling. The first time I heard it i cried. The phase that touched me the most is, Are you stuck inside a world you hate? I think any diabetics can relate to this song.

Hey everyone, I am really looking forward to getting a pump! Although I am not sure when i will be able to get one? How long were you on shots before you were able to get a pump. I was diagnosed last November. My sugars are VERY regular, they are rarely above 130. I HATE SHOTS! I have been looking at pumps and i really like the Omnipod. Well for now I just want to know when i can get a pump.
