This was a good D day

Slept in. Still not well, but not as bad as I was. No headache today--a big plus.



Oatmeal Scram egg and grapefruit for breakfast--oatmeal always makes me need extra insulin--gotta love it..1.t times normal--just for the oatmeal carbs. light lunch,meat n cheese, chinese for dinner...and not over 170 for the day--yippeee!!!



will have a snack later will meds after some sewing...be glad to get fully over this sickee thing--don't like being a sickee!

What is support?

As with everything, it is different for everyone. But for me it is NOT being told how wrong, stupid, lazy, non-compiant...etc etc. I am (or someone telling someone else that)



So why do I feel I need to say anything? maybe because I am not feeling well and cranky/.overly-sensitive..but anyway...

Diabetes Blog

So after reading Manny's blog--I will try to post here more often



Right now I am fighting off something. BG on a rollercoaster (from 49-290 and everything in beteween more than once in the last couple of days) ..felt like crap the last 2 days--giving in and going to doc tomorrow.



I'd rather be working on Christmas presents--more washing, ironing, cutting, sewing and quilting to do!

So who am I? A very unique individual..my kids (a soon to be 29 year old son and 25 year old daughter) call me theri crazy gypsy mom.
