Writing on your hands

I see alot of images on this site where people have written something on their hand or hands. I recall my Mother being very angry with me when I was just a little boy for writing on my hands. It is a time of my life i will never forget. I don't even remember what I had written on my hand, but my Mom was mad! In any event, I am only making an observation. Raising money for research Orange County California

Zoey at JDRF Gala fundraiser Orange County California

Hey gang! Last night I did my routine at the Saint Regis resort in Orange County California, for the JDRF. After I painted two portraits of the Honorees' children and grandchildren, they auctioned a commissiones piece by me. I managed to raise $ 10,000.00 all by my little self. I'm pretty proud of myself. So far for 2009, I did $ 8,000.00 for the Jay Leno portrait I did for the Seattle Chapter JDRF and we will count the sales from the art show "Pre-existing conditions". Wow! what a night. Amazing show. I met so many great people last night. I dont have any photos, and the list of names to say thank you to, is longer than I can imagine. In any event, I wanted to thank everyone who came out to show support and be exposed to such a wonderful project. I am very excited for the 14th of November! Dereck Cruz and I are busy trying to raise awareness out there in the world. He and I have started up the TypeOne line and are busy promoting. We have a myspace as well as the web site so visit and make friends. We just wrapped up at the JDRF Walk in Orange County California. There are lots of fun pictures, so be sure to check it out! JDRF Walk at Dodoger Stadium

Wow! We had a great time yesterday. Me and Dereck from RADAR and his daughter all hung out and made art with the kiddies. We also did a soft launch for Type One Clothing. Curt Smith from Tears For Fears played, Nick Jonas made an announcement and cut the ribbon to start the Walk. My favorite band Jet Stream rocked the stage, it was a great day! We will be at the Orange County JDRF Walk this coming Sunday to do it all agin, so come on by if you are in the area. Continue

walking in LA

I love the JDRF. I have been doing everything I can to support research for a cure. I will be at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles California on November 1, 2008 with an art booth, at the JDRF walk for a cure. I will be joined by my associate and friend Dereck, whos daughter has type one diabetes. I am hoping everyone can let their friends in the LA area know about and support the event. Thanks everyone!
