Sweet 16

Today's the day I turn "Sweet 16" (does this mean I get my dm driver's license now?), and 16 years ago, it all began with a phone call.

My doctor called to tell me I needed to come in right away. My sedimentation rate was way up and she needed to find out why. So off I went, back to the health center for another battery of tests. 16 Years Ago Today

I get a bit reflective at this time of the year. I'm bearing down on my dm anniversary, and in fact, though today (3/19) isn't the day I was actually diagnosed, as I think about it, this was a significant day in the days leading to my diagnosis.
