And did the first Snow Fall

As I opened the backdoor to let smudge out I saw the first snow of the season so did smudge who took one look turned around and hightailed it back upstairs, there are times when you feel a right fool, getting out of a warm cosy bed because the cat has woken you up at 5am so she can go outside, cynics might say get a cat flap installed and know it all like me would say ok stick it on my list of things to do before I die.

Our garden looks like…

A bucket with a hole

Although my feet feel very cold my heart is full of warmth

Although my nose is turning blue the snow does it fall

Although I Wish for better days I kneel and i do pray

Although I tinker on my best days seem far away

Although I look around me no noise the silence say

Although I wonder far and wide my shadow it does follow

Although I ask myself each day will it be better tomorrow

Although I look to you for help I eel like a dog with a…

Is it me or is there a draft on my neck

In our World living with this condition is bad enough, not because we have it but the lack of sensible and sound advice the medical profession as good or as bad as they are sometimes leave you feeling cheered up or brow against a brick wall.

At time the sheer amount of information can give us an headache or the lackof it can make some of us liable to bouts of depression worry anxiety or even suicidal, I take 14 different pills each day 2 lots of insulin and…

Feet

Having just watched the news which had a topic about the number of amputations on people with type 2 diabetes, the charity diabetes UK, I think described the situation as disgraceful or something like that sorry if it was not the word used, it appears from my po.int of view that it is a bit of a post coded lottery as too the level of care you get in the National Health Service, I have found so far the cover where I live to be OK, but it does worry me as someone who does not know if I have…

Letter from SHROPSIRE

Hate it when you have typed a blog and the computer decides to scrub it, and you have to start all over again thank heaven for the anti depression pills, I had poured out my soul deep kept secrets which would have shocked you, made life intolerable for some people and changed the World forever,on the other hand it might have sent people to sleep.

One of our more enduring traits as a nation is talking about the weather why well that is easy you never know from one day to the next what…
