My son is on the Omnipod. So far he loves it. In fact he says if he had a choice...he'd never go on a tubed pump and that he would do MDI before a tubed pump...so Omnipod...right now is the only pump he'd ever concider... but I am concerned about some of the questions that keep popping up in my head about the pods.
I am suspecting that the pods do not always fully prime and fire "blanks" at first and this is the reason for his highs after a pump change.

We went to Hershey Park today. This was the first amusement park experience since my son was diagnosed. I was curious as to how this would effect his numbers. She never called back. So my son asked her...did you get my mom's voicemail??? The teacher said..."NO, I didn't see it". So, my son gave her my phone # and told her that I wanted to talk to her...this was on Friday. She never called. I talked to the nurse.
