Help Me and my Dad with the World Diabetes Day Fundraiser!

Hi All,

I don't normally solicit, but with World Diabetes Day coming up, I wanted to let you guys know that my father has created a Fundraiser (concert/fish fry) here in Milwaukee, where 100% of the proceeds go directly to help cure diabetes. There is no administration cost--it's all being covered by my dad and his company, and even if you are not in the local WI area, please consider making a donation to the WDD fund. ANY amount at all would be… Continue

Experiencing Grace in the Summertime

Hi Guys!

Happy (almost) first day of summer! I just wanted to let you know I'm still alive and kickin'! Last month I celebrated my 31st birthday and 20 years of complication free diabetes. I am now a member of the Diabetes Daily family, and a regular contributor to their website through my blog, "Amazing Grace." I have been on my insulin pump (Paradigm) for several months now… Continue

I Need Soul.

Today was my day off. What did I do? I slept in until 8:00 (waking up at 105--niiiice!) and got a cup of cuppa Joe with a friend. I went to the bank and then went to look at little kitten, "Soul," whom I just adore. I filed the adoption papers today to Animals Taiwan. We'll see what comes of it all. Soul seemed sweet and laid back. He came right…
