"Patients who take Avandia... are far more likely to suffer and die from heart problems than those who take Actos, a similar pill made by Takeda, according to FDA reviewers.
Avandia is particularly dangerous to patients who also take insulin. By contrast, Actos can be taken safely with insulin, according to the review."

TuDiabetes.com received today its 400th member. We have been growing about 10% every week for the past month.
Thanks to everyone who has been supporting us throughout the process, inviting other people, linking to the site, etc.

I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in late 2002. Since then, life was never the same until I started wearing a pump in the summer of 2005. The pump restored a lot of the freedom I had already gotten used to being without by giving me more control and flexibility and allowing me to accomplish blood glucose control like I hadn’t seen since before I was diagnosed.
