I must also add that it is imperative that you stock UP on your diabetic supply needs. You DO NOT want to be in need of supplies during a bank holiday, whilst stores are closing down, shipping companies shutting down or in the midst of any interruption in diabetic supply flows.
If you are in big cities, you must stock up on supplies. This includes medicine, food, water, cash, batteries, etc.

Hello everyone, it has been a long while that I have been away from writing about health issues. In my time since, I have been studying economics. Initially, I warned people during late summer of 1997 to remove their money from their 401k plans. For 2 years I been listening to many people on YouTube, reading a lot of economic blogs, watching documentaries online, studying history and watching many interviews about this economic crisis/collapse/whatever-you-want-to-call-it. It's evident that we…

Today we have a scenario within the Health Care System that consists of a lot of denial about what actually creates true health. Much of it is produced by Corporate intere$t but a lot of it is psychologically based.
"...denial is a basic psychological defense mechanism used to not only shield [oneself] from unpleasant realities, but also to reassure [he or she] that they will still fit within the acceptable range of opinion held by their peer group".

Hello everyone, I have been busy with work lately and also spending time reading and learning about Ron Paul, a candidate running for President. He is still a registered OB/GYN (which he has practiced for several decades) and he is the only candidate that mentions the liberty and freedom of using alternative healthcare when asked about the health care situation in the US. This is not his only view on it of course, but to hear a politician mention this is relieving. He speaks about allowing…

This is a quote from a 'mainstream' doctor who now has a child with autism. He has written
a book about it and is interviewed on
this site. Some people are waking up. To say that the diabetes epidemic isn't related to how we are treating ourselves, how we are thinking…

Someone told me about this film called 'Our Daily Bread' --
http://www.ourdailybread.atI haven't seen it yet, but it looks nicely photographed and seems to show some intense insight to where food for the world comes from.
Also, seeing that I am drinking a glass of life inducing carrot/celery juice right now, I'll tell you a little about the juicer I use. It's called a Champion Juicer. I've had several juicers over the years; some are…

To start, I do
not have Diabetes. If that disqualifies me in your mind as not being able to talk about disease and health then there is no need to read the rest of this post.
I began my foray into a world of alternative health from being raised by 2 parents who wanted to raise children outside of the system. Our Mom and Dad were raised in 2 very large northeast cities. They went to church and lived on sugar, meat and overcooked vegetables in the 1950's. Because of the religious…

Someone recently wrote in their D blog:
"I wish diabetes was as scientific and predictable as doctors and pharmaceutical companies would like us to believe."
There is so much truth and explanation in that statement, and it came from someone who has a current disdain for anything other than conventional treatments. We are living organisms with an extremely large amount of healing potential inside of us and if we keep the doors shut to true health by continuing the cycle we are…

I am very happy to see
Psychosomatics and mind/body studies taking place in the current society of medical research, albeit very behind many researchers that have been doing this for decades.
Over 15 years ago I found the doctor and teacher…
