Haven't been on here in a while...

I took my daughter to her Doctors appointment today. It went great! Her A1C was down from 8.3 to 6.9!! I was so excited with that I just wanted to share it with everyone! I have a facebook too and thought about posting it but I know people will look at it and wonder what the heck I'm talking about. The doctor was really happy with her progress. Also in the last 6 weeks, I let her stay the night at a friends house for the first time in I think a year and a half. She did AWESOME!! I was so proud of her, she made sure she kept track of her BG and she stayed at good numbers all night long. I think that me letting her stay the night somewhere REALLY helped her self esteem. Since then I think she has slept over somewhere 3 more times!! We talked about some general rules, if she went low, text me and let me know, but treat for it. If she went above 250 then she had to call me or text me so I could tell her how much of a correction to give herself. She had extra supplies with her in case she needed them. We were prepared and I'm so happy for that! So that's my sharing for the night, I hope everyone is has a good week! :)
