Comment by Lila on January 1, 2013 at 1:21pm Pregnancy means you put on weight - this is normal and expected. And it means having to take a ton more insulin (1 unit to 1 gram carb in the last few months of my own pregnancy). From your other posts, it sounds like both of these things would be difficult for you. This is not meant to be a criticism - but a T1 pregnancy is really hard work. You really need to sort out these two really important issues before you think of trying to conceive.
