thought tonight would be a good night just to air out what has been going on.
the day after xmas i started to see a CDE who put stuff in perspective and things have to change. In a matter of 2 weeks i went from having blood sugars in the 200-300 range to having 90-200 range. Since november i have been vomiting randomly after meals. After pleading with my PCP to get a referral to see a GI doc i finally got one. The only problem is now i have to play the waiting game with the referral dept to get an appt. so in the meantime its days of phenergan and zofran (even though i havent needed it lately) do. so we shall see what the future brings for me.
We make our moves in mysterious ways
We’d rather burn up, than stick to the shade
Not of this world so we live on the run
We keep our eyes set on what is to come
We are, we are (we are unstoppable)
We are, we are (for the impossible)
We are, we are (we are the kingdom come)
That’s who we are, that’s who we are

Josh I congratulate you for taking the bull by the horns!! When a dr doesn't pay attention to his patient it's then time for the patient to make a move. My opinion is that you should dump this dr and get someone who specializes in Diabetes. He sounds like one of those dr who treat patients but doesn't listen to them. Diabetes is a patient driven disease and we must advocate for ourselves sometimes. I hope you able to find a solution to whatever your problem is and that it is painfully resolved...and by the way you made a wise decision to get a CDE.

Comment by Marie B on January 27, 2013 at 10:53am I'd ask about gastroparesis too.
