I can't decide. If I was a Smurf, I would either be Grouchy Smurf or Grinny Smurf today.

I'm in a smidge of a diabetes slump, coming off of a weekend that hit the highs of 400's and lows in the 30's. No rhyme or reason to the chaos, but instead a perfect storm of variables that sent me spinning. Now that I'm settled back into the routine of a work week, I'm feeling a little grouchy about the weekend numbers, yet oddly amused by everything (per usual).

I'm a huge proponent of laughter being the second-best medicine (second only to insulin, which I need in order to muster up a laugh, right?). A solid sense of humor lends light to even the darkest hours.

Signed,

Grinny Smurf.

I'm so glad you shared how crazed your number were on vaca...we just got back and my son's numbers were almost always in one of those extremes (30-400) vs. anywhere in between!
