Things have been going well, however the vegan diet has been making me feel tired and run down. Maybe due to the flu that has been going round, I have a bit of that perhaps. Also I had very low blood sugar the other night, which woke me up at 3am and caused me to eat cereal then (which woke up the dog, which made me feel guilty). In any case, my wife cooked me a small portion of chicken tonight and so I felt obliged to eat it - for the protein you see. So I guess my trial kind of failed at that point.

The good news is I have lost a bit of weight, even after 1.5 weeks, and it has stopped me from eating bad stuff like ice cream and peanut butter. I will continue with the 3 week trial, even though I had chicken this evening.

So the experiment continues, but seriously I don't think I will end up going 100% vegan. I will be happy if I can avoid the bad foods though, and eat meat and dairy in moderation.
