Meet the Face of Change: a celebration of people with type 2 diabetes

I received this and thought many of you may want to look into it:

Meet the Face of Change is a nationally touring photo exhibit, sponsored by Novo Nordisk, that celebrates people with type 2 diabetes who are embracing change as part of a successful strategy for adapting to and living with diabetes.

Rick Smolan, the photojournalist behind the "Day in the Life" series, is producing the project and will be sending his team of photographers to capture the faces of about 60 people with type 2 diabetes based on submissions to the Meet the Face of Change Web site.

If you'd like to enter for a chance to be professionally photographed for the exhibit, which will visit Atlanta, Miami, Philadelphia, Detroit and NYC between September and November, visit www.FaceOfChange-us.com and tell them about positive changes in your life you have made as a result of your type 2 diagnosis.

August 30th is the deadline for submissions.
