i called my ortho's office today to get an appt for a shot in my wrist for tendinitis. let's see today is sept 25th. my appt is for oct 22nd. good thing i'm not dying. while i'm getting my shot i will be setting up an appt for trigger finger surgery. he will be doing the finger (ring finger) he gave me a shot for last year and probably the first digit finger as well. it's starting to catch too. this time i'm not putting up with a shot. do them both at the same time. they are both on the same hand. the tendinitis is in the other hand. now while i'm a little erk'd over having to wait so long i will forgive him. ladies you will understand when i tell you he is excellent eye candy and can be forgiven anything. i'm sure you guys will just raise your eyebrows. oh well. gotta love it. besides i'm sure there are others who have more serious problems then a trigger finger or tendinitis. i'll wait my turn. now if i can just get the swelling in my hands to go down so i can make a fist again i would be almost perfect. there's always room for improvement. and i have a long ways to go to get there, that's for sure.
i'm doing the fall get ready for winter special. taking care of the wrist and fingers, getting my flu shot, seeing the eye doctor, and getting the bobby squeeze done. they tell me more and more guys are getting that done now a days. they have my sympathy.
be well all.

I have had trigger finger for about 4 years - from knitting, low thyroid and probably the db. For several months it just hurt. Then it started catching. I had one cortisone shot that did absolutely nothing. A year later I had another that worked for 6 months and then wore off. Then, magically, about 8 months ago I realized that it was all better and not catching - have no idea what caused the improvement, but I'm not complaining.

the exact same thing happened to me. It hurt for a while, then started catching, then I got a shot and it lasted for a month or so then wore off...then it went away one day when I wasn't paying attention. Why does that happen? I have it again in the same hand and now I'm showing signs of it in the other hand. both are catching and my upper arm hurts too. I feel like I'm falling apart. I deal with the pain right now since I don't have insurance...90 more days. It seems like even if you have a good a1c (last one 5.9) it doesn't matter. hmmm wish I knew what the trick was.
