Status quo here. I am seeing a nephrologist on a regular basis, getting magnesium infusions three times a week but hoping to cut down on that soon. I may have to get a port surgically implanted but the meds(amiloride) is supposed to cut down on the wasting and I am really hoping my veins hold out. Thank you guys for your thoughts and prayers.

OMG Heidi - have you talked about this over at the log cabin? I was shocked to hear that you're having problems. I hope it's only temporary. Gosh - always something.

I talked about it some, but I'm hoping it resolves and I don't want to bore the blog-o-sphere with that info. I'm getting by.
