TuDiabetes

Hello everyone;

My name is Andy and I've been a type 1 for 34 years, been really blessed with good health so far. I have some numbness and tingling in my lower extremities, but besides that, all seems to be going good. When u get this at 15, you kind of turn your head the other way and pretend its not there, it took a few years to learn that if I contunied this, I wouldn't be around long. I am now on inhaled insulin, and really like it. I welcome all comments and life exeperiences.

Andy

Well I new to it myself, been using it about 6 months now, for me its lantus before I go to bed and the puffer before each meal. I get my lungs checked about once every 6 months, it beats shots twice daily.

Welcome! Tell us about inhaled insulin. I don't think too many people around here use that.
